Managers are well aware of the importance of increasing the motivation, initiative, willingness to collaborate and communication among people in the company. All those “soft” issues are actually the hardest and highly important ingredients that determine the capabilities of the company. However, most (all) companies experience the existence of phenomena that continuously add oil to the already burning fire of disharmony. Things like vagueness about my personal contribution, misunderstanding of the contribution of others, conflicts, authority and responsibility misalignment are a few such examples.
Through the application of specific tools for managers, and others in the company, these phenomena can be systematically diminished, step by step resulting with continuous improvement in motivation, initiative, willingness to collaborate and communication, and as a result in an ever-improving organization.
